I'm Back!

Wow...its been really long since I've last blogged. Studies have been keeping me busy for the past few months. Fortunately, I've finished my exam trials but accumulated loads of new photos to show you. :)

Before my trials, my father and I went to Sabah to hike the famous Mount Kinabalu. It was an awesome experience-one that I'll never forget. The journey took perseverance and patience. At some point the mountain seemed to go on forever but in the end, just being at the summit of Mt. K was worth it. (See the photos of the summit and you'll know why.)

As you can see, the sequence of my photos is reversed. I would have told you this was intentional but it was actually a silly mistake. ;) Well, this is what happens when you don't blog often. Nevertheless, do enjoy them and I encourage you to take up this challenge. This should be one of the 100 things you should do before you die. :D

Snow...

This is the two-wired suspension bridge.

What we went through when we were coming
down using Via Ferrata (team behind us)...

Look! No hands! :)

In case you didn't notice, we're standing on
the mountain wall which is approx. 65 degrees.
Feels like being Spider-Man...

Dad and I

Via Ferrata...

The team: Me, Dad and his friends.

Me with the Via Ferrata gear on.

This is how you're suppose to climb up
to the summit...

This is actually the shadow of the peak. Amazing
isn't it?

The breath-taking view...

We made it!

Sunset at base camp (6km)...

This is the hut we stayed in.

Going up...

That's Mt. K which is covered by the thick clouds.

Well, this was the part where we got real bored
during our flight to Sabah. :)
